Low, so that there would be less moisture lost. Because of the fact that there is not an abundance of water in the desert environment, Cacti require low transpiration. They do this by having smaller amounts of stomata. I would double check on that using other resources, but it is a fairly simple concept. Cacti need to hold in more water than other plants so they have lower transpiration rates. :)
it would be high
To minimize the rate of transpiration
low
Only where respiration and transpiration occur, in the lower troposhere.
At lower (absolute) pressure, lower air humidity (relative pressure) and higher temperature
*stomata -open-increased transpiration -closed-decreased transpiration *consequence of gas exchange -tradeoff of more gas exchange resulting in more transpiration *environmental factors -humidity -air movement -evaporative cooling -wind stress -intense light/heat
All the deserts of the Americas fit that description as cacti are only natives to this area of the world.
desert
Sandy soil without water logging and good drainage, with low organic content goes best with cacti. Sandy soil without water logging and good drainage, with low organic content goes best with cacti. Sandy soil without water logging and good drainage, with low organic content goes best with cacti.
it would be high
in arid places with very low water.
it would be low
You move your hands to the words my name high low jack a low jack a low high low high low jack a low jack a low high low. For the word "High" you would move you hand into the air, sort of like a Hi-5 and clap the other persons hand. For the word "Low" you would then clap the other players hand except this time you do it under the hands that are constantly in the middle. And finally for the word "Jack" you would clap with your own hands that are kept in the middle of the air to play this game.
To minimize the rate of transpiration
the surface would have low relief, but if you include thesides it might be high
On a multimeter, a high resistance would indicate a high Ohmic value and a low resistance would indicate a low Ohmic value. Specific values would be relative to device you are measuring.
you would expect it to have high pressure
