Valerian root is a holistic solution to anxiety, sleeping better, and has a calming effect on the body (many actors take it for stage fright). It does not turn putrefied bile (feces) green. There are five reasons for green feces.

1) Eating an excess of green-leafy vegetables (as in a vegan diet) can cause green bowel movements, but U will see undigested leaf particulates that give it away.

2) If a small piece of feces comes out that is green, as in 'chunks' of green within larger normal petrified bile (causes the brown color), it can be a piece 'stuck' in a curve that grew a heavy dose of Bacteria over a few weeks (in a corner). 4) If it continues to be Green Day after day you should see a doctor, as there are internal problems (like excess bile secretions, but they are rare).
