What do we need oxygen for?
We need oxygen for our cells to be able to convert food into energy. We breath in order to bring oxygen from the air into our bodies and carry it in the blood to our cells. Because we practice aerobic respiration we would die without oxygen. Some things, particularly many bacteria, can live without oxygen because they respire anaerobically.
What happens without oxygen?
You are not able to breath. without oxygen then we wudnt be ableto breathe and if we dont breathe, then we`ll die so yea... well, for a human you wuoldn't survive you die. so that's why you need oxygen.
What is the difference between suffocate and hyperventilate?
Suffocating means to not be able to breath, as if someone is choking you. With suffocation, you are not getting enough oxygen. Hyperventilating is where you are breathing really fast, can't stop and may possibly pass out from too much oxygen.

Well, you'd still be able to move your chest, but w(o the lungs there'd be nothing to collect the oxygen that you need out of the air.

Humans would not be able too breath and probably die The human body essentially relies on oxygen to keep its muscles functioning, if there was no oxygen then humans would first use the oxygen it already had in the bloodstream. The body would then turn to anerobic respiration to keep the body functioning. After that the body would probably fall into a coma and die from oxygen deprivation
Could you move plants to Mars since plants breath carbon dioxide and wait until they make enough oxygen and move humans there?
no. Mars' surface has no liquid water, and nearly no nutrients in the soil. Also, the average day temperature is -14 degrees so no plants would be able to grow there. Also, the amount of atmospheric pressure on mars would mean breathing, even if there was oxygen would be incredibly hard
