I do and I and started when I was 13 now 15 today it just depends on the people who you want to babysit for. I was very lucky to have known my neighbors for a long time so when they had their daughter they asked if I could. If your neighbors are not very protective and pretty much isolate their child from the world they will say something to the nature of, "your a child yourself" and believe that pisses me off and i know by 12 most girls, not boys yet, are very mature and responsible so to answer your question it really depends on who you want to babysit, get your parents to reffer you to their friends.
So we have a 15 year old who thinks she can tell who is and is not mature?
She is also probably of the opinion it is a girls job too-very sad.Seriously? I know several males way more mature then their counterparts little girl. And by the way, 12 is a child and it is illegal for her to babysit! Guess you skated by! And you lucked out because nothing bad happened to the children you were sitting, but trust me, that is not always the case.
Yes, I think at 15 you are responsible enough to be able to babysit.
No. 12 years old is still too young to babysit. Maybe a 14 or 15 year old.
yes, they can be left alone if the twelve year old is be responsible, if they are not responsible then hire a babysitter for not only the 2 year old but also the twelve year old so that you can embarrass that twelve year old. (inviting over their friends while having the babysitter might just do the trick) and make sure the babysitter is very unattractive and old.
In some places they can not legally be hired, in NZ you have to be 14 to be left at home alone, by yourself or with other children under your care.I Don't think i would trust an 11 yr old babysitter, though i guess it depends on how mature they are, maybe for a child between the ages of 3 and 8i would trust an 11 year old with ges 5-9
Its depends on how mature they are for their age.... If she is excellent with kids and knows what to do yea sure but if she has no clue and just gets on her phone and texts her friends the whole time she is suppose to watch the child then probably not
It would really depend on if you trust them, but if I had a 14 year old, I would get a babysitter.
no they would not
NO, because that 12 year old is too young.
If he or she is experienced and mature and responsible.
A 14 year old can get a job in Kenner, LA as a babysitter or even a dog walker. There may also be some farms in the area that will hire a 14 year old.
You can take CPR and babysitting courses from Red Cross. You can advertise and tell family members, neighbors, or friends you want to babysit and they may hire you or tell one of their friends that you are available. Somebody will hire you!
You might be able to work as a babysitter, or have a paper route, or work in your parents' business. Most businesses are not allowed to hire 14-year-olds to an actual job.
