Spider, at least it would fit into my hand. It doesn't really matter, most Spiders and snakes aren't venomous. In fact the most lethal spider known to humans is actually quite small, a black widow, followed by the brown recluse and there is more chance that you'll get hurt sticking your finger in front of an electrical socket than if you stuck your finger in front of a snake.
if you want to hold a little snake hold it by the tial and the head of the snake

I am not sure about the tail scales-but if the head of the snake is triangular it means that that particular snake hold venom in his cheeks.
What's special about a snake's respitory system is that a snake only has 1 lung. Because of a snake's body shape, a snake's body can only hold 1 lung
Stupid little spiders
They are certain it is non-poisonous, or they are stupid.
Because invariably the species used for snake 'charming' is the highly-venomous Cobra. The snake charmer increases the risk of being bitten if he holds the snake for long periods.
The lynx spider does spin webs but only for one reason, to hold the eggs. otherwise this spider does not use a large web for catching its prey.
Assuming the scorpion and snake are of average size for their type. I would say the snake is going to win. I say this because a scorpions venom couldn't kill the snake. If it hit the snake right between the eyes, then maybe. But the likelyhood of that happening is slim to none. The snake would win, because even if it wasnt venomous, all it would take is one very good bite to break the scorpions exoskeleton.
