This points to something that is such a common error today that before long it will become part of accepted language. It is correct to say there was a number of questions on the test. The verb has to agree with the word number, and number is a singular noun. You could say there were many questions on the test.
You will hear this error all the time. Someone might say there were a collection of guns on the table. It should be there was a collection of guns on the table. There was a collection. In this case "of guns" modifies the word collection. The sentence says there was a collection on the table. What kind of collection? A gun collection.
It would be correct to say there were guns on the table; the verb agrees with guns.
I find the errors a little grating, but I am not a strict grammarian. Language IS the way language IS SPOKEN, and that is how language changes over time.
number of questions answered right divided by total number of questions, times 100 Say you get 8 questions right out of 10 questions 8/10 x 100 = 80%
I would say about more than 6
The questions aren't that hard, are they? "Can you pee in this cup?" I'd say self-explanatory, really. On the other hand, if you're looking for the results of your urine test, you would be best to contact the organization administering the test, as this sort of contact information would be locale-specific.
I would say that if you would have a very hard time answering the questions. Do you know the answers to most of the questions before someone buzzes iin when you watch the show.
To say "questions" in French, you would say "les questions."
The answer to this question depends on how many questions there are in total. Let's say you have a test of 50 questions your break point would be 25, so anything below that is a D or F.
One cannot say what the Army Composite Risk Management test answers are. Though if a person were to take the course and study for the test they would be able to answer these questions on their own. However, there is no way to tell what the actual test questions will be so therefore one can not simply find the answers without taking the test first, for themselves.
What would you say if/about-the rest is nearly infinite.
Twenty-Five questions, You need to get 18 correct in order to pass the permit test. & Dont listen to others who say you need to only study the signs or the fines. Study the entire book. And Good Luck : )
All of them - you'd fail, but the question did not say anything about passing the test!
