Just my opinion:
If you were invited to a party, then I'm guessing the people who invited you like you and don't think you're a loser. The purpose of a party is to have a good time. Talk to people, mingle, be yourself, and be confident. Don't worry about doing the wrong thing or doing exactly what everyone else is. Just relax and have fun.
