Most breeds of dogs will get along with each other. Just don't get the breeds with a reputation for being aggressive. I have a Bichon Frise (lovely dog and approx. 21 lbs., all white and female) and also a strawberry blond male Cockapoo and a 9 year old cat and they all get along together. Sometimes it's like a circus around here. I always have two dogs because they become buddies and each species needs it's own kind. While out it also give them company for each other. If you have a small poodle then go with the smaller breeds. If you have a mid sized poodle then you can still go with a smaller dog like a Cockapoo or a larger dog. I've owned Cairns before and they are lovely dogs (classified as the clowns of the Dog Breeds.) Poodles (highly intelligent) are being more and more introduced into the breeding of other breeds that have weakened. There is the labradoodle, etc. My Cockapoo has some poodle in him. Save a life and go to the ASPCA or Animal Shelters. There are puppies to dogs ranging from a few months old to older. Each dog in the ASPCA and Shelters has whatever information they can get and usually put a warning on the card in front of the cage if the dog is aggressive in nature. You'll know the right dog when you see it. Some of my most beloved pets have been Heinz 57 variety and seem to live longer life spans. Good luck!
This is a extremely easy answer. The best dog to train is the poodle. The poodle are very obedient when you get them as little poodle babies.
A Poodle!
yes ash is a silly poodle. he likes sausages. and Ryan is the best
It would be best to take your poodle to the vet because they are the experts.
To be totally honest your best bet is the groomer. A Poodle with hard matting is very very hard to get out yourself!
It depends on how small you would want the animal. I have a Shitzu, poodle mix puppy and he is pretty small, and non-shedding. Your best bet is to go with a small reptile or a puppy that is crossed with a poodle or another breed that does not shed. --Sweetness

That would be great! The Poodle is a very intelligent breed. I believe it is one of the best in obedience/show competition. Please click on, http://dogtime.com/dog-names-poodle-name... to view classy Poodle names.
