You don't mean 'sperm' . . . sperm cells are only useful for getting someone pregnant. I think you meant, "Semen". Semen is the white or clear fluid that is ejaculated during sex. About a tablespoon full at a time is average. Some have more, some have less.
Most young men are capable of producing viable sperm between ages 12-14, sometimes earlier, sometimes later.
it depends on when you have started puberty, for most people it is at 11-14 but some people do start prodcucing sperm at about 15/16
They don't know when they will be able to ejaculate sperm. What they should know though is that sooner or later they will begin to ejaculate sperm as they grow mature through puberty. It may not be at 12, it may not be at 14 even, everyone is different and will produce sperm at different ages.
Old Enough to Know Better - song - was created on 1994-11-14.
Puberty starts at 12 years of age in males. The penis starts growing at 13/14 years of age.
14
The male testis begin producing sperm after the onset of puberty, averaging around 12 years of age.
14
well you are old enough when you know you can handle things probably 14 is a good age if you are responsible
Sperm are made continuously, all day and all night long. Increased temperatures in the testicular region (tight fitting cloathing, for example) can greatly reduce sperm production temporarily, but that will bounce right back when the temperature returns to normal. Interrestingly enough, sperm only live about 14 days, and then die and are reabsorbed into the body.
If he has reached Puberty then he will be able to shortly if not already. It makes no difference if he is a virgin or not. Sperm doesn't always shoot out though, sometimes it just dribbles out.
Everyone begins Puberty at different rates and times. Although the average age to begin is between 11 and 13-years-old, a boy might not begin until 15 or 16-years-old. Sperm production and ejaculation will come after beginning puberty. At 14 you are at the average age to begin producing sperm in your semen, so don't panic. If you are not producing sperm by 16 or 17-years-old but have all the other signs of puberty then speak with your family Doctor for advice.
