It could be that you are simply eating healthily and than anything the baby needs is being taken from any reserves of fat that you have elsewhere in your body. If you experience a dramatic weight loss after you have the baby, then this is probably the case. It's not always all about weight.

Don't eat unhealthily simply to put on weight, ask your health care provider what to do. If you're healthy and the baby is developing normally then you have nothing to worry about.
