When American husband gets Canadian citizenship does wife automatically get it too?

Unfortunately, no! Only the children under the age of 18 are eligible to become a Canadian citizen if their parents become one- this applies even if the child does not reside in Canada. In this case, the parent should apply for them before they turn 18.The spouse and children 18 and above should meet the requirements, apply for citizenship, take the test and if they are approved in all those steps, then finally take the oath of citizenship and become Canadian citizens.

Can Americans become Canadian citizens?

I can state definitely that Americans can become Canadian citizens; I myself was an American, born in New York, and I am now a Canadian citizen. This does not, of course, mean that every American can become a Canadian citizen. Canada, like any other country, has specific citizenship requirements, and immigration requirements. Not everybody qualifies. But some do.

Where can I find a sample of the citizenship tests?

I have researched citizenship tests and found a variety of sites. I am not sure which citizenship you are wanting to study for, so if it is for Canadian citizenship you can check out yourlibrary.ca/citizenship/. If you are studying for US citizenship test you can check out 800citizen.org/us_citizenship_test/. If it is for another country, I advise just researching the specific country you are wanting to become a citizen of.

What happens to citizenship when an American marries a Canadian?

When applying for German citizenship, you should ask them for a permission to retain foreign nationality. If they do not approve that, and you still want to become a German citizen, then you should renounce your Canadian nationality.
