Soaking every instrument in bleach or alcohol overnight will kill anything. You should also wash everything else (chairs, sinks, etc) with a good antiseptic like Lysol or alcohol just to be sure that none of the little beggars crawled off of her. Let this be a lesson to you in future. Head lice are very contagious and very bad for business. When you have your consultation just comb through the hair to check for them. If you find them take the client to one side and explain to them that you cannot carry out any service because of the lice and recommend that they get them treated. A lot of people wouldn't go to the salon if they realised themselves that they had them so try to be sympathetic at the same time.
