In the UK we finish High School when we are 16, so we don't really need to drop out. But the Government have made a new law, that we have to go to a Sixth Form College until we are 18, and if we drop out, then it's the same as if we were to drop out of High School, we would most likely get a truancy officer at our doors, telling us off and fining us.
