the real question is, do you feel secure with your own identity? So what you look older than you are, or even act more more "mature" than some of your friends. I put mature in quotations because what you define as mature may be different from how I would define it. The way I see it though, perhaps you just have different goals, ambitions, and/or ideals than your friends. This doesn't make them any less your friends, nor should you have to change who you are to cater to some crowd. I'll tell you what an idol of mine told me long ago; "People who sit and criticize someone for how they act, or look, or speak, or whatever clearly are jealous or fearful on some level. Rather than admitting this and accepting someone's difference, they sit and judge the person on qualities they themselves wish they had, or don't understand So my advice to you, love you for you regardless of what anyone thinks.
