yes you can, i was on the depo injection from being 14 then i came off it at 18 and fell pregnant 6 months later but unfortunatley miscarried at 8 weeks, i then went back on the depo wich i got every 10 weeks instead of 12 due to heavy blood loss when i was due for my next injection, having it every 10 weeks ment that i had a 1 to 2 week light periond when i was due for my next shot but obviousley i didnt mind this. anyway i was due to get my next injection on 9th January 2009 but i decided to come off it and was thinking about going on the pill i was told that it took 14 weeks from my last injection for the depo to wear off and as i had them every 10 i wasnt worried about protection arround the 9th anyway i didnt have my usual period and am now 11 weeks pregnant, i concived arround the 9th of January when i should have still been covered by the depo for 4 weeks! so yes if your not careful you can get pregnant on it. i never put weight on with the depo and would recommend using it aslong as you don't break your regularity on it and also it effects everyones periods differently i had regular ones as described above, my mam has been on it 3 different times during having 6 kids the first time she never had periods at all for a year, then came off it and she had a full year of bleeding non stop before conceiving, then after that baby she went on it again for another year and the same happened, then after another child she went on it and is still on it after 3 year she has only just stopped having a constant period but she is all over the place with them. my sister doesnt have periods at all on it. my friend had regular 28 day cycle on it but heavy she has now come off the depo and has a marena implant and takes the pill. i also think it can mess with your head i was always moody when on the depo and eery one noticed how much happier i was off it! that might just be me tho, anyway i hope i helped.
Depoprovera will not make you pregnant for months.
Yes, you can get pregnant even if using Depo Provera perfectly, although the risk is very low. If you miss your injection, you could get pregnant more easily.
It's not, used as directed it is one of the most effective methods of birth control. Less than 1 out of 100 women will get pregnant each year, while on DepoProvera.
No, you can take TT both when you are pregnant and breastfeeding.
pregnant
If you have not ever in your life had a period then no but if you have had your period before then yes it is VERY possible
yes
Yes, it is possible. The Depo injection is 99% effective, but there is always that small 1% chance that you could become pregnant while on it. However, most women who have gotten pregnant while on the depo injection is because they waited too long to get their next depo injection so it was no longer effective. If you are on this type of birth control, remember to get your shots on time. Also remember that while the shot helps prevent pregnancy, it does not protect against STDs in any way.
An injection that stops you getting pregnant
Yes you can.
