If she is an active member of the LDS church, there is a good chance that she is only willing to marry or have a serious relationship with other members of the church, however, this might not be true, you'd have to ask her. If she is only willing to be serious with members of the church, talk to the missionaries with her and see how you feel about the church - who knows, you might like it! but if not, don't feel pressured to join a religion just for a girl. I guess I dont see what is wrong with you on your way to becoming a doctor, except that medical school takes a lot of time and energy and could put a strain on your relationship. Mormons can date doctors, marry doctors, and be doctors.
