Many people feel differently toward others based upon sexual orientation. Has many aspects of rearing, environment, etc.

My personal opinion

Personally, I am not against homosexuality. It is as natural as being heterosexual and simply another point on the continuum of the sexual orientation spectrum. This is backed up by numerous research, including the American Psychological Association and Dr Alfred Kinsey.

Being gay is not a choice. Just as heterosexuals did not wake up one day deciding to be straight, I didn't wake up one day deciding to be gay. It isn't something I have control over.

I also believe that all the social taboo and homophobia is immensely influenced by conservative religious organisations. In particular, the Roman Catholic Church and Islam are two of the greatest barriers yet to be overcome in our pursuit for a modern society.
