Talk to him as if he's your friend but let him know you like him just by the things you do or say, if he really likes you too he will eventally ask you out. At my middle school guys and girls date people in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. Age doesn't matter so don't worry about that.

∙ 15y agoIf he is in grade 8 then chances are he is moving on to gr 9 - highschool and you will be in 8th grade. Usually this would cause a gap in the dating scene for him as he is a year higher but who knows if he is interested in you it is possible but it would depend on the two of you. All you can do is try and see.

∙ 16y agoUnfortunately the truth of the matter is most boys that are older especially in grade 8 and going to be in grade 9 soon don't usually look back or have interest in girls that are in grade 6.
