Realize that, while you are a great guy, the girls around you are not ready to date you yet. It can be for any number of reasons. Maybe you intimidate them with your looks, smarts, or wits. Or maybe the girls you have asked out just see you more as a friend than a boyfriend. Someday, you will meet a girl who desperately wants to be your girlfriend. In the meantime, prepare yourself for that relationship and don't invest so much of yourself in those "unsuccessful love situations" with girls who aren't your girlfriend.
