If you share a folder with someone else then that means they have access to your computer. A virus will notice that and worm it's way over to both of your systems.
I've only done this with a nano but most ipods are universal so... plug in your iPod, open my computer, double click the iPod, double click the Ipod_control folder, double click the Device folder, then delete the _locked folder, then your iPod will work perfectly
The reason why you cannot delete it or move it to quarantine is because the process is still running on your computer. Open task manager and go to the processes tab. The process belonging to the virus will be in there, end it. After that, you will find that you are able to delete the virus and move it to quarantine. If your antivirus fails to delete the virus because it's running, you have a terrible antivirus. Once you've ended the process, download autoruns by sysinternals, then open that. Go to the logon tab and look for the auto start entry for the virus, it's probably under HKLM. Delete it. After that, you can delete the virus. I suggest running a scan with malwarebytes anti malware afterwards just to clean up. Good luck!

This is not a virus. Just because your computer isn't operating correctly or you aren't using it correctly doesn't mean it has a virus.
