Any time you have an accident or ticket on your record, insurance companies will sur-charge you for it. Since your not under your fathers policy, it will not effect it. Keep in mind that you MUST disclose all information to the insurance company. This includes all drivers that primarily reside at the resident. All drivers must be dis-closed, at this point and time you can either include drivers in the policy, or exclude them where they are not covered in the policy.

did you ask for court suppervision
Yes. There is a difference between driver's license points and insurance points. Anything that is on your MVR can raise your insurance rates.
yes the points will be assessed. you have to mail the money to the different state/county/whatever or you might be able to do it online by credit card. i think it affects your insurance same as if you were speeding in your state.
The point system of insurance company's is different than DMV points. If you have a no-point speeding violation on your MVR your insurance company can still have points on your insurance records. Check with the insurance company.
Yes it does. Pennsylvania will report the speeding ticket to Wisconsin and it will be treated just as if it was received in Wisconsin.
Call and ask your agent
If the violation shows on your drivers transcript, the insurance company has the ability to charge a surcharge points or not. Not all motor vehicle violations carry points.
The increase in your insurance payments vary from company to company. Call your insurance agent, they can give you an estimate.
6/7/06. I was pulled over today and received a ticket for impeding. Since I have a good driving record, the officer did not want to mess it up by giving me a speeding ticket. He explained to me that the impeding ticket had 0 points, compared to a speeding ticket with 3 points. The impeding ticket in Michigan is $140, but I thanked him for giving me a break. I don't need my insurance to go up any higher than what it already is!
