Yes. When you get pregnant your body begins producing new types of hormones. Pregnancy tests only check for one of those hormones. It's possible your body doesn't produce the hormone the test checks for, or you are doing the test wrong. The best thing to do would be to go to your doctor and ask for a urine and a blood test to confirm your suspicions.

There is a small chance. You could re test in the morning since your body has all night to build up the pregnancy hormone (if any) so you should get a very accurate reading.

I could understand if a urine test was negative, but a blood test can't be wrong. It tests for fetal cells, and if it's negative then there are no fetal cells, hence no fetus.
