Yes, I have taken 4 tests for work ransoms. All get sent to a lab. I have a script for xanax. But i take Valium also. (No script) they CAN tell them apart. Luckily so far I havnt been fired. But was failed on those tests. Xanax is AlparazoLAM, Valium is diazePAM, Klonopin is ClonazePAM, Ativan, LorazePAM. See the difference. They can see the metabolites are different.

Four pills of .5mg Xanax should be the same as one 2mg, mathematically at least. My question is, why wouldn't they be? I guess it's possible that if you are taking generics the purity of the pills could vary a little, but not by any significant amount. My doctor has prescribed me two .5mg and one 1mg Xanax pills interchangeably, so because of that (and the use of math and logic), I can't imagine there being any difference.
