I am guessing that amox tr-k clv is a brand name or other abbreviation for the compound antibacterial agent containing amoxycillin and clavulanic acid; also known as Co-amoxyclav 375 or 625, or Augmentin. In my experience this ALWAYS causes some degree of diarrhoea, which can be accompanied by abdominal pain. It is more important to complete the course of the antibiotic in order to maximize the chances of success, as well as to make the emergence of resistant strains of bacteria. So, if you can put up with the symptoms, that's what I can recommend.

It is perfectly alright to take something like loperamide for the diarrhoea. Active ('Bio-') yoghurt is also helpful in re-populating your gut with bacteria and treating the symptoms.

What are side effects of amox tr-k?

Amoxicillin with clavulonic acid is "Augmentin" and an antibiotic. All antibiotics cause GI upset (nausea, diarrhea, vomiting, indigestion) - with this one, you should have a good meal in your stomach before taking the medicine. Also when you are taking antibiotics, it helps to eat yogurt daily, or take Lactinex or some other brand of live bacteria tablets in order to prevent a lot of the diarrhea caused by the antibiotic killing off the "good" bacteria that live in your gut and help you digest food. There are numerous more specific side effects to this drug including the peeling of skins on your fingertips and toes.

When you're sliding into home How does the rest of the rhyme go?

This is actually a pretty foul and gross little rhyme. It was popular back in my softball days due to a movie that was out at the time. By sharing it, I am sure I am only corrupting future generations. It went: When you're sliding into first And your pants begin to burst That's diarrhea, diarrhea When you're sliding into two And your pants are filled with goo That's diarrhea, diarrhea When you're sliding into third And you feel a greasy turd That's diarrhea, diarrhea When you're sliding into home And your pants are filled with foam That's diarrhea, diarrhea There is also an alternate set of verses. Is Diarrhea normal during fasting?

Generally, diarrhea is never normal. It means there is a problem with the way your digestive tract is working and too much water is being left in your stool. If it persists, you should see a doctor because you could become dehydrated. Also, taking anti-diarrhea medicine for more than a day or two (by manufacturer's recommendations) can cause trouble with your bodies natural electrolyte and fluid balances and this can have serious negative effects. If you have diarrhea for more than 48 hours you should definitely contact a medical professional.

Diarrhea for 3 days and nauses can it be dehydration?

No. Diarrhea and dehydration are rarely linked. Dehydration shouldn't lead to diarrhea, but in turn, diarrhea can lead to dehydration. Well, it depends on the frequency and length of your Diarrhea. There is many cause for diarrhea, ranging from common cold to colon cancer. Usually a diarrhea with the duration within 10 days is caused by infectious agent, but if the diarrhea lasted for more then 10 days, you should see a doctor as soon as possible! These are classic "stomach flu" or gastritis symptoms. They most frequently come from an infection, and while they can last 10 days, that's pretty extreme. You should be seeing it ease up about now in fact. Dehydration doesn't cause diarrhea; diarrhea causes dehydration. And, depending on how often you're moving your bowels, you can dehydrate in 3 days or even one. While this is certainly something you should consider passing to a doctor, try this too: * Drink lots of either Sports Drinks like Gator-Aid, or lemonade with some salt or potassium in it. Drink quite a lot of this. * Try out the BRAT diet: Bananas, Rice (or rice cereal), Applesauce (plain) and Toast (also plain). * Clear liquids are good, as are gelatin's. If the problem doesn't correct itself quickly, consider calling in for medical help.
