I'm a girl, take it from me (username is my dogs name Mikie): Tell her, and tell he not to go on and on about it to her friends, if you love her you should trust her. Tell her the truth if she laughs at you just look at her, and she'll realized that she hurt you. Since she's your x you should have no problem talking to her, hope this helped. ps. if your to nervous then get to be friends first, if you can't do that then tell one of her friends that you trust.
