Yes, you certainly will lose weight and harm your health. Think about all of the calories you burn during the day simply living out your daily routine (showering, folding laundry, running up and down the stairs, cooking, or whatever you do!) This would subtract the extra 200 calories you did not burn off at the gym.
=== === Yes, you will actually lose too much weight too fast I only eat 1000 calories a day because I really want to lose a lot of weight. I've been losing about 5 pounds a week (yes I know that's extremely hypocritical it's not really a good idea to eat so little and burn all of it off anyway. If your going to the gym every day and burning 800 calories every day then you should be eating at least 2000 calories a day. You will still lose weight but at a much healthier rate. The only reason that I only eat 1000 calories is because I don't get very much exercise.
You should not try to live off of only 1000 calories a day. Healthy people need around 2000 calories a day to function. Try to eat healthier foods to get your daily caloric intake and try easy work-outs (going for walks, taking the stairs, etc) if you don't like going to the gym.
At that rate, you will (assuming you are also dieting and eating right) lose about 1 pounds every 3 days.
100 calories a day is not much, but is still enought to lose weight. At this rate you'd lose about a pound of fat every 35 days, since a pound of fat is about 3500 calories.
ok to lose weight u need to burn more calories then you are consuming.. if you eat 1200 calories and only burn 100 then your total for that day is still +1100 . see what i mean? so you must burn an amount greater then 1200 calories in order to lose weight.. i dotn know how to measure calories burned but i would guess about 2 hours exercise a day would be enough
It doesn't really matter your age. Take your ideal weight ie 140 lbs. Times that by 100 =1,400. You should be consuming 1,400 calories per day to reach your ideal weight of 140. Or you can eat 1,500 and excersize to burn that extra 100 calories or eat 1,600 and burn 200 calories with excersize.

It takes 3,500 calories burnt more than are consumed in a day. To lose 100 pounds, that means that 350,000 calories need to be burnt. The average month has 30 days in it, so 6 months is 180 days. That means that you would need to burn about 2,000 (1,944 calories, to be exact) a day more than what you consume. So if you eat 1,200 calories a day, you then need to burn off 3,200 calories every day.
Depending on body weight, height, etc you burn 100-150 calories per mile.
You Burn 100 CALORIES But when you smile the strongest you burn 1,000 Calories
Roughly 100 calories. It depends on your weight and the speed at which you walk.
OK. Im 22, 153lbs and can run a mile full on in 7:34mins, but lets say i do it in ten. My calculations and research showed that with my weight, height, and age, i would burn 106 calories every ten mins. 60 mins to an hour, roughly 600 calories an hour. I would have to run for 2 hours and 23 mins to burn 1500 calories. ouch.............
THey hit speeds of 22-23 miles an hour on average
Many people start running because they want to lose weight. As one of the most vigorous exercises out there, running is an extremely efficient way to burn calories and drop pounds. A 150-pound person will burn approximately 100 calories per mile when running.
It take 3500 calories to lose 1 pound. On average running a mile will minus you about 100 calories or so.
Depends on your weight, gender, age, fitness level etc, but not that much. Let's say an average burn during running is 600 cals/hour. Now, running a mile isn't going to take you that long, maybe 10 minutes or so. So you're looking at a burn of maybe 100 calories or thereabouts.
