As long as the engine is cold you can remove the radiator cap DO NOT open it just after you have been driving even for a short distance, open it only when engine has been stopped long enough that coolant is air temperature (Like first thing in the morning before you have driven anywhere)

Raise the front of the car up and support it safely. From underneath, drain the radiator, then remove the lower hose from the engine outlet. Remove the engine outlet, and the thermostat is inside.
there are alot of newer vehicles that do this and it is perfectly normal.it keeps running to safely cool the engine slowly thus increasing the life of the engine
If there isn't a button, you can go to My Computer, right click the device, and in the menu, there should be an option to eject safely. If you remove it before you "safely remove" when you insert a pen drive you will the safety remove icon in your PC.
First of all drain all anti-freeze and safely dispose. Remove top and bottom hose clamps from radiator. Disconnect both radiator fans from the vehicle harness. Remove the radiator reservoir and set aside. If it is an automatic, there will be two black hoses that are clamped to the radiator, these will need to be removed and fluid safely drained. If it is an 5-6 speed there should be no additional hoses to remove. Once all of this is done, remove the two straps that fasten the radiator at the top. The radiator should be able to be lifted straight up at this point. If it is haning up, STOP and find out what is it hanging up on. The removal time should take about 5-10 minutes provided you have all the right tools. The transmission lines and draining coolant hoses are the most time consuming. I hope that helps. Right Click on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon, and press on the "safely remove" button.
The reservoir has two level lines - one for "cold engine" and the other for "hot engine". If the engine is hot, and the coolant level is low, fill the reservoir to the "hot engine" level. When the engine is cold and the level is low, I usually" top off" the radiator and fill the reservoir to the "cold engine" level.
There is an icon in the lower right hand corner of the screen and if you scroll over it, it say "Safely Remove Hardware." Right click on it, select the device, click remove, and then you are good.
