I suggest you take the poor kid to a wildlife rehab center. You won't be able to fix his wing yourself and if it's stressed & in alot of pain, it probably won't eat much at all. Birds have a very fast metabolism, so taking him to a specialist to get fixed is the best thing before it starves & stresses itself to death.
The main part of there diet is flies. They also eat other insects.
The migrate to get the warmer weather. Also, in winter it would be much harder for them to find food.
