Well, I found four chicken eggs on the ground once, I took them home and put them in a blanket with a hot water bottle. I didn't have an incubator so I warmed them, changing the water every now and then, If the egg is unrecognisable then maybe you should just keep it warm until it hatches, then feed it formula until it can eat seed. My eggs didn't hatch but maybe yours has some hope. I hope I helped.

Sounds like a killdeer.
Quails nest on the ground and a quail's nest may contain up to 28 white, speckled eggs.
The white bird that lives by the sea is a pelican. You could also be referring to a sea gull. Both ae white, most of the time.
If it is a small egg and depending on where it was found it is probably a tit egg ( most common being blue tit)
Unless it was in a nest, it could be any one of many species. No bird that lays white eggs, especially of that size, nests in marshland in the UK and very few birds that lay eggs on the ground lay white eggs (I am assuming it was on the ground). Best guess - wood-pigeon. If it is, it should be nearly eliptical rather than typical "egg-shaped" and be slightly shiny and fine textured. Break it and the shell should be quite thin.
Sounds like a humming bird.
