Hitlers Wrong choice on D-DayNo, that is not true. Hitler and the Nazis actually knew an attack was imminent. How ever the armies had to cross the sea. There was a narrow side which would mean a short journey across the sea, and a wide side which would be a long tiring ride. Hitler anticipated an attack from the narrow side and loaded his troops to that side leaving the wide side weakened. The allies supprised the Nazis by attacking the wide side avoiding a terrible defeat and attacking the weakened end. They then established Beach-head and attacked the rest of the Nazis from the back and side.----D.H.
