No. I did the same thing, I gave myself a trust point just to see what happened, so I had 1 trust point. About 2 weeks later some one else gave me a trust point, so now I have 2.

This is a hard one. I'm sure it has many answers. Or maybe one answer? I'm not sure if I've conjured the correct one, but this one is true to me right now: You learn to trust yourself with time. Love others as much as you love yourself, serve those around you, use selflessness as your moral compass. ; A man who doesn't trust himself can never truly trust anyone else.

The first reason is that their contributions were outstanding to others, and many people who saw this contributor gave them a trust point for their excellent contributions. The other reason is that this person had all of their friends make an account and give them a trust point.
Getting trust points totally depends on whether an individual person sees your contributions or not. Even if an individual person sees your contributions, they can choose whether or not to recommend you and give you a trust point or not. It's all about being recognized.
