In 1969 I moved with my family to a new town, on the road to the better high street was an eerie dead looking house, it had a name, Bonkers House, my brother, sister (now deceased) and I would imagine who lived in Bonkers House, they were mad, bad and sinister and so we always associated madness with bonkers.
