If you put your new NuvaRing in after ten days with no ring, you could be pregnant. Take a pregnancy test to be sure. Consider changing to a method that relies less on your ability to do something every month.
skipped parts
You sound young and if this is true your periods may not be regular yet. There also is a possibility that you are pregnant. I would suggest you see a doctor.
If NuvaRing® has been left in your vagina for up to one extra week (four weeks in total or less), remove it and insert a new contraceptive ring after a one-week ring-free break. If NuvaRing® has been left in place for more than four weeks, you may not be adequately protected against pregnancy and you must check to be sure you are not pregnant. If you know or suspect that you're pregnant, do not use NuvaRing®. If you are not pregnant, insert a new contraceptive ring. You must use an extra method of birth control, such as male condoms or spermicide, until the new NuvaRing® has been in place for seven days in a row. This is from the Nuva Ring's website.
Either she has irregular periods - or she's pregnant !
Yes, many woman still have periods during pregnency but skip 3 or 4. And birth control is never 100%. Go to a doctor what if your a virgin and you have not skipped any?
I just had a urine test (7weeks pregnant) and the midwives said I must have skipped breakfast as there was a substance in my urine (can't remember what it was). And they were right... I was very hungry!
i skipped to school
Quit speculating and go to the doctor first thing Monday. My question is did you try to get pregnant, and are you prepared for this if you are?
Most over the counter pregnancy tests will show a pregnancy the day of your skipped period. However I believe there are a few more expensive ones that will be able to determine up to 5 days before the skipped period. hope this helps.
Yes, you might get pregnant if you have sex without birth control. Consider using the morning after pill, and talk to your health care provider about a new method if you don't want to get pregnant at this time.
The past tense is skipped.
Yes, that is a possibility. One skipped period is of itself not a certain indication of pregnancy, but it's one explanation for the missed period. Consider a pregnancy test.
