Under the glove box is a blue connector, disconnect it and disconnect the battery. After 30 seconds reconnect the battery and it should work. Leave the blue connector open for the lights to come on with the doors.
check your fuses
Can be a dead cell in the battery which means it must be replaced. Can also be something is on pulling power from the battery. Glove box, interior, under-hood, or trunk light. Can also be the alternator is defective.
I may be having the same problem. I replaced the battery. The interior lights, siren, horn, radio all work, but the car will not turn-over when the ignition is turned. I am really interested in how to unlock the vehicle.
Same as my 2002 P71. Battery had short. Replaced battery - worked perfect!
why das my interior light stay on and run the battery down.
Can be the battery has a dead cell which will require the battery be replaced. Can also be anything on the vehicle that is on pulling from the battery. Any light that is on or any relay that is stuck will drain the battery. Check under hood light, trunk light, glovebox light, interior lights, etc.
Run a breaker button from horn to car interior to battery
