A "single barrel" gives us little to go by. Is it a bolt action, semi-auto, pump, or true single shot? There should also be a model designation, by name or number. Removable choke tubes, typr of rib, and stock variations can also affect the value. Most important is the gun's condition (as it relates to original condition: a reblued gun may look good, but it's collector's value is redueced). Many of the Browning guns have real monetary value, and you should take yours to a reputable gun shop for an evaluation.
