im there. wait honey. depending on how close he is to your brother it could ruin his relationship with him...you would hate it if you and your best friend fought..brother are overly protective and if his mate goes out with his little sis..and he know thatt his mate is touching her/hooking up and stuff..then he physically cant be friends with him anymore..wait till both your brother and his friend mature a bit...if you really like this guy he can wait until they have both matured im talking 20 or older and can be reasonable about it...although itll still be touhg for your brother...take it from me first time i bought home a bf my brother was soooo pissed and wanted to bash him...hahahah..(not really i guess)..

I guess it depends if either you or him is older. If he is older, then 6 years isn't a lot. My best friends parents (who are divorced) well, her father is 11 years older then her mum.
