I'm not sure if Hydrogen Peroxide will kill Lice. But, if it does, then you still need to retreat in 7 days and again in another 7 days. Eggs take 6 to 11 days to hatch. There isn't much of anything that will kill the eggs. So, after you kill the existing lice, you need to wait and kill any new ones that hatch in 7 days. There might be some late hatchers, or you might have missed some on the first kill, so do it a 3rd time - just to be sure. Removing as many nits (eggs) by hand will help to reduce hatchings and reinfestation. And - on a personal note - if you have kids in school, be sure to tell the school and any parents who might have kids who have been exposed. Its a gross subject but if there is an outbreak you can help stop it by telling everyone to check their own heads!
