You fail to confirm if the eggs you are incubating are chicken eggs but if they are, you may want to candle the eggs to ensure they are fertile. Use a strong flashlight in a dark room, shine the light into the egg and see if light shines through. A developing chick will appear as a dark spot. 24 days is past the normal 21 day incubation time for chicken eggs. You may want to give up on this batch and start over.
Yes you can use brood as a verb to talk about birds incubating their eggs. But I think that is not common most people talk about birds sitting on eggs not brooding on eggs.
If pheasant eggs are kept in the refrigerator, they can remain viable for up to an month. If kept unrefrigerated, they can go bad within four days. Allows refrigerated eggs to warm up slowly at room temperature.
The job is to pulsate and help move eggs out of the ovaries once they have been developed.

Members of Picidae are typically monogamous, with a few species breeding cooperatively and some polygamy reported in a few species. Polyandry, where a female raises two broods with two separate males, has also been reported in the West Indian Woodpecker. A pair will work together to help build the nest, incubate the eggs and raise their altricial young. However, in most species the male does most of the nest excavation and takes the night shift while incubating the eggs. A nest will usually consist of 2-5 round white eggs. Since these birds are cavity nesters, their eggs do not need to be camouflaged and the white color helps the parents to see them in dim light. The eggs are incubated for about 11-14 days before the chicks are born. It takes about 18-30 days before the young are ready to leave the nest.
Like most wild snakes - their eggs are laid in warm, moist places. The humidity and warmth help the eggs develop over a period of 80-90 days. The newly-hatched snakes have venom just as potent as an adult's.
You actually have to wait 3-10 days.
I'm not sure if Hydrogen Peroxide will kill Lice. But, if it does, then you still need to retreat in 7 days and again in another 7 days. Eggs take 6 to 11 days to hatch. There isn't much of anything that will kill the eggs. So, after you kill the existing lice, you need to wait and kill any new ones that hatch in 7 days. There might be some late hatchers, or you might have missed some on the first kill, so do it a 3rd time - just to be sure. Removing as many nits (eggs) by hand will help to reduce hatchings and reinfestation. And - on a personal note - if you have kids in school, be sure to tell the school and any parents who might have kids who have been exposed. Its a gross subject but if there is an outbreak you can help stop it by telling everyone to check their own heads!
if it's been 52 days since you smoked you should be fine without worrying about the sauna.
