Very unlikely that you will be addicted after 3 days. Although you may feel the effects of withdrawal, the severity of which would depend on the amount of Methadone you had consumed. The withdrawal could be quite prolonged as Methadone as an incredibly long half life for an opiate.
On average, although, each person and case is different, addiction behaviour can occur around 3 weeks of regular use. It's also very much dependent on whether the person has suffered previous addictions to other substances.

It depends on the person. In most people, usually not. Methadone has receptor-blocking properties and will clog up your opiate receptors blocking out most other opiates. But it is still possible to feel other opiates on such a low dose of MEthadone, depending on your Methadone tolerance.

I'm not entirely sure how long it takes for Methadone to get out of your system, I know it can take quite a while due to its long half-life, but it depends on how long you've been taking it and how much you've been taking. If you've only taken one half of a Methadone one time, I'd give it at least a 4 days to a week before feeling confident.

I would suggest you check out UNBIASED, accurate medical data before making your decision about methadone or not. You also may want to consider Suboxone. More expensive but less strict guidelines to follow.
