You have been working out and your legs have been really hurting around the calf area and ankle when you run it seems you have a torn calf but you dont think it will be as bad as that what as happened?

Check your calves and ankles for any bruising,swelling or bulging over ankle bones.If none of these are present it is probably a build-up of lactic acid.Walk it off gently,make sure you are adequately hydrated any time before or after you work out. Warm-ups and cool-downs are important every time even if you exercise regularly. If you do all thse things and still have problems, have youself checked for restricted arteial blood flow Elevating your legs will also help some. Do Not vigorously massage you calves if you have one spot that hurts worse than the others. if the reaaly painful part of this does not go away fairly quickly, please see a doctor.
