vaccuum leak? maybe , just a theory
No such thing exists on a 91-02 Saturn s-series. The above is correct... mostly. Saturn did not use a physical camshaft positioning sensor on any of its S-series vehicles. There is however a pseudo camshaft pulse generated by the ignition control module and sent to the computer. If you are receiving faulty cam position sensor trouble codes, the problem exists in the Ignition control module.
They changed from mostly black with little white to mostly white with a little black
your rear camshaft seals are old...they are about 15 dollars at your local dealer. replacing them is a pain. like two to three hours worth of work...well I am referencing my 94 85 turbo anyway.... buy the hanes or chilton's repair book and you should be able to do it yourself. Dealer price? 400 dollars plus mostly labor money...
We have mostly destroyed it.
brake pads shot, warped rotor, or bad wheel bearing/hub
mostly it means that the ABS sensor on on of your wheels is broken..that would be the easy cheap solution..but it can also be that your ABS ( the think that makes your brakes strong and stabil) is not working at all..and that's not the best..you can drive no problem with that..just take care braking and keep distance. Mostly out your radiator in the form of heat, and from braking, which heats up your brake pads. A few new cars are featuring regenerative braking to recoup that lost energy from braking. Tires also generate a lot of heat during use. Some additional energy dissipates as noise, which generates heat in the air as it travels through and fades.
