It needs the attention of a gunsmith.
Possibly a broken firing pin.
Does it need to be cleaned and regapped? Maybe it needs to be replaced?
replaced ignition coil pack, PCM and spark plugs. No signal comes from the computer to fire plugs 2 and 3, but 1 and 4 are firing nicely. The van WILL NOT start, but -- at times -- it tries. Please help. There is possibility that I bought a faulty PCM with the same problem that I had from the original, but I dunno.
yes.
your control module is bad
Remove spark plug wire and hold near engine block (with insulated gloves) to see if it is firing - if so may have to do a compression check to see if problem is internal
It is called 'Slam Fire' and to use it simply HOLD the trigger as if you were firing it, and cock/prime the blaster repeatedly.
First you have to determine if it is a spark problem or a fuel problem.
This could be a number of problems... Fuel pump problem? Carbuerator / fuel injection problem? Timing problem?
Back firing problem for Chevy S10 pick up truck 4.3 L 4x4 after tune up? What could be the problem?Double check firing order, plug wires may be mixed up.
I would take ignition module off and have it check at one of the autoparts stores if good i would replace crank sensor .
