The snails in your fish tank most likely came in as eggs on fresh plants. To remove them you can actually just fish them out, or you can get a chemical from the pet store to kill them, or the easiest thing to do is get a Clown Loach, they apparently eat them.
i don't think snails do! Snails poop from inside their shell. They have a small hole in their shell that allows them to carry waste out.
Apple Snails will eat other snails if you don't feed them. If you feed them, then they are alright.
No Snails tend to eat small leaves and sometimes small animals!
really?

because they are weak and there fore should be small
Some species do. Down here in the South, we have predatory Rosy Wolf Snails that eat small shelled snails and slugs.
I have a 10 gallon tank and it holds 3 indian dwarf puffer fish/pea puffers. they love snail cuz they are small enough to suck out the snails. if you have a snail problem i would remove the fish from your tank and put a snail killing chemical in. i have also heard of snail traps you can put in your tank and not have to remove your fish. i would at fast because snails multiply VERY FAST, or you can smash them with your fingers. Also there are such things as ASSASSIN snails that will eat brown snails.
mm im not sure
