i just had the similar problem. i repaced the coil pack an the ignition module. they are not hard to do. if then you still have no luck replace the distributor itself. its not hard to do but you will need to check the timing once you have it running. get yourself a chilton an haynes book. it will help you along the way. best of luck.
4.3? Follow the spark plug wires from the spark plugs, they will lead you right to the distributor.
Spark Plugs need replaced Bad or Old Distributor or even a weak fuel pump, or old fuel filter.
On the 4.3L V6 the distributor is located in the back of the engine, in the middle. Just follow the spark plug wires and they will lead you to it.
see if you are getting spark in your wires. or check for cracks and damage.
The spark travels from the coil to the distributor then from the distributor to the plugs. So if you have spark going into the distributor but not coming out to the plugs, I would blame the distributor cap and rotor being at fault.
Is it a brand new distributor ? If not then replace the module and pick-up coil in the distributor that you have.
Spark plug gap chevy ls blazer
Did you replace the fuel filter?
Assuming this is the 4.3L engine, the distributor cap would be found in the back of the engine on top. All the spark plug wires lead to it.
Assuming the fuel filter has also been replaced, a bad distributor cap and or wires and spark plugs could do that also.
I would replace the ignition module in the distributor.
It is in the very back of the engine. Just follow a plug wire from the spark plug to the distributor cap. It is hard to see. All the plug wires start at the distributor and then hook to each plug.
