If they hate each other because they are fighting over your attention, confront them like the answer before mine has stated. However, if they have tension that is separate from you, leave it alone. Its annoying and a little rude to intervene upon problems that are completely separate from yours. Unless you find the situation potentially harmful you should just plan time with them separately and equally. If they just cant stand the fact that you are friends with the other...they don't deserve to have you as an awesome friend.
