Well you could either call your cable company and see if they will supply you with a longer cable or you could get wireless internet and have internet readily available all over your house.
yes you could also use a wireless internet modem
Yes, but only if you have a wireless modem and a wireless enabled computer. If your computer does not have wireless you could always buy one from somewhere like Argos for about £15. you could also use a USB modem but that is not recommended as t can slow down your Internet speed.
It all depends on how you define "wireless internet". If you are talking about 802.11 wireless for the systems in your home then yes, you need an internet connection of some sort for the wireless access point to connect to the internet. This could be cable, DSL, or even satellite (which is not technically a landline). However if you have one of the wireless broadband cards from Verizon, AT&T, or other providers then that would be all you need.
You can picto-chat... But they have wireless for that. You can't go online though
Yes and No You could you Wireless internet from your neighbor if you can get a signal ,BUT its illegal if they catch you. Wireless Computer service=wireless internet?
Well by high speed wireless internet you could mean something like the new 3g internet services offered by cellphone companies or you could mean just setting up a wireless network at your home. If you're planning on having internet everywhere you go and take your laptop around alot than I would suggest the AT&T 3g wireless internet card which covers a wide range of the U.S. & Canada. If you just use the internet around your house than you need to obtain an internet connection from either a sattelite, cable, or DSL providor and obtain a wireless router.
There could be wireless interference between you and your router. There could be some kind of problem with your modem, internet, cable, etc. Go to the test connection page, try connecting and message me what the problem is.
Primarily because cable TV is more reliable. In many cases, very bad weather can knock out satellite coverage temporarily, while cable will generally stay alive. This isn't absolute, though. There was a massive windstorm in the midwest in September 2008, and my cable was still down for three days.
If you want a wireless internet hookup for the xbox then it is necessary to have a wireless network adapter. If you don't want to buy one you can always hookup the xbox to the internet with an ethernet cable. but do u only need that cable and it will work?? i have wireless internet and if i connect the ethernet cable to xbox from the computer it will work?? Answer- NO you can not plug ur xbox straight into your computer. You won't get internet that way. You have to use an ethernet cable and plug it into ur wireless router. Or you can just buy a wireless adaptor.
The wireless router is usually the cause of any malfunctions in wireless internet. I always have to unplug mine, and then plug it back in later. Reset it.
If you are currently having Internet problems, there are plenty of reasons why this could be occurring. One possible reason could be the cable router.
