You just had a ua sent to ameritox and am prescribed diazepam and took clonazepam will it show up the same?

No, they use more expensive equipment/test and can determine the different

How do you get prescribed clonazepam?
First, you get an anxiety disorder like OCD, then you go to a psychiatrist who'll give you the medicine and everything will be just fine.
I have Pills with CDA written on them can anyone identify these for me as they are diffferent to all the other tablets prescribed to me or perhaps just a different company logo?

Can diazepam and clonazepam be taken together?
Both of these medications are part of the Bendo family of drugs and are usually prescribed for mild to severe anxiety. Both of these medications have a calming affect that help settle ones nerves and anxious feelings. Usually one of these medications should dull the affects of an anxiety attack but if the dosage is low (Diazepam 2mg for instance, or Clonazepam .5mg) than maybe you need a higher dosage of either medication (Diazepam comes in 5mg and 10mg and Clonazepam 1mg and 2mg). Increasing the dosage would most likely treat your anxiety much better and would not force you to take both Diazepam and Clonazepam together. But if you are in a situation in which you can not increase your dosage than taking both together would be ok, since both do basically the same thing but just watch out for an overdose and the side effects. I take 6mg of Alprazolam (Xanax) a day one 2mg Xanax 3x daily and also 2mg of Lorazepam (Ativan) 1x daily. I have also been on Diazepam (Valium), 10mg Valium 5x daily. I have taken these medications together and have had no problem but the side effects will increase. Also another point to take into consideration is if you have ever taken any of these medications and have built up a tolerance or if it would be your first time taking the drug. If it would be your first time I would suggest that you stick to one at a time, see what each one does to you, the side effects and overall just how you feel. The pill you're referring to is a 2mg dose of Clonazepam (generic version of Klonopin), which is a Benzodiazepine family drug. It is in the same family as Diazepam, which is more commonly known as Valium. Clonazepam is generally prescribed for seizures/panic attacks, but such drugs are also used in experimental form for pain control. It is up to the patient to determine if it is effective or not on pain, though it will most likely make you drowsy.

Because Klonopin (generic name clonazepam) has a much higher halflife than Ativan (generic name lorazepam) at 18-50hrs compared to 9-16hrs for lorazepam, there should be little risk. If you are taking clonazepam just to get off of lorazepam, you cannot simply stop the clonazepam once you are off the lorazepam. Both drugs are benzodiazepines and while they can be fairly interchangable, your body will still have tolerance to them, and suddenly stopping high doses of them will result in restlessness, tremors, and potentially seizures. Benzodiazepine withdrawal is not a pleasant experience, you should consult your doctor about substituting the lorazepam with something like clonazepam or diazepam and have a schedule for tapering down the dosage. SHORT ANSWER: Yes, but then you will have to continue taking the clonazepam instead.
