yes, this is bad treatment for your hair as it is drying it out. I think you can get it. I also have very thick hair and I am also dying for a pixie cut. I say go fir it, and i think it would look good with thick hair, but I guess you have to be careful and not make it look like a poofball. but if you want a pixie cut, go for it!
