You really want your ears pierced but you're going on holiday soon and the chlorine in the water is supposed to make your ears get infected Is this true and should you have them done now?

No. The chlorine in the water will not make your piercings get infected. Chlorine is used to in pool water to kill bacteria so there to avoid any infections. Regardless of that, you really should talk to the person that is going to do the piercing and get their professional advice.
