You recently changed the spark plugs on my Sunfire 2000 gt everything went well except the boots that seat around the plug are not sitting down the whole way they are about 14 away lube didnt help.?

IF ITS A 2.4 LITRE engine, you need to put the booys on the plugs before replacing the cover, i tried 3 times clipping to the cover and trying to install everything onto the plugs,couldn't do it.... check for splits in the boots,they are cheap to replace. good luck

I just changed this out, to get to this from under the car. I put the car up on ramps. From there it's between the the oil pan and tranny. It's a tight fit for your hand. Make sure your car has been sitting to cool down for atleast for an hour. Even then the tranny and oil pan is hot, so be careful. ( it's on the back of the engine block)
