You removed catalytic converter on a 1987 Pontiac fiero now the idle is real high service engine light is on Is there any kind of a oxygen sensor loop or something you can plug in to fix problem?

After replacing the fuel filter someone suggested checking the fuel injectors because something along those lines caused the initial problem.
